McGill University

I am an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University, since 2020. I obtained my PhD in Operations Management from the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. Previously, I completed my B.S. and M.S. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

My main research interests are in environmental and socially sustainable supply chain management. Specifically, I am often motivated by domestic and global climate policies and their impact on business operations. Conversely, this also can aid in the better design of policies and regulations to achieve carbon reduction objectives while minimizing unintended consequences. Theoretically, I am also interested in the interplay of information, incentives, and fairness in multi-agent environments such as supply chain networks.

I have handled data projects for several Canadian organizations such as Best Buy Canada, Lululemon, Procurify, and Lighthouse Labs. In other engagements, my interests in sustainable urban transport planning have led me to serve on the Transportation  Advisory Committee to the City of Vancouver.
